Permian Basin Golf & RV Resort (formerly known as Martin County CC) is a resort, small-town West Texas course that is wide-open and difficult when the wind is beating you down. You can score well here because the flat terrain has no bunkers. The fairways are lined with mesquite, mulberry, and cypress trees that are relatively immature, leaving room to work even if you miss the generous landing areas. The bent-grass greens have a reputation for being difficult, as they are small and vary in undulation and speed. Water comes into play on only one hole.
Getting there : Take the Stanton exit off of I-20 and turn south. When you come to Hwy. 80 go south and make a right on Bell Rd.
