This old 9-hole course resides at the Hondo Air Base and dates back to the 1950s. It's a traditional small-town layout featuring tight fairways and tiny greens. Two sets of tees allow for an 18-hole round. Under 3,000 yards, the layout features five par 4s, two par 3s, and two par 4s.
Getting there : From San Antonio, take US 90 west through Hondo. When you come to the flashing yellow light, turn left and drive .5 mile to the course.
