Moody Gardens Golf Course
1700 Sydnor LaneThe Carlton Gipson-redesigned Moody Gardens Golf Course is one of the most difficult tracks in Texas, universally considered one of the top five municipals in the state. The Gulf winds pound the course and water comes into play on every hole. Even from the regular tees, the route rolls 6,816 yards, so short knockers are truly at a disadvantage.
Getting there : From I-45 south, exit 61st St. and turn right. Find Stewart and turn right, then turn right again on 99th Street. Drive to Sydnor Ln. and turn right-you'll see the entrance on the right side of the road.

The fairways are pretty wide and the greens were fast and receptive. Downhill puts can easily get away from you.
The staff was very friendly.
Plus the scenery/wildlife around the course is amazing.
