Laid out along the wind-swept shores of Lake Ray Hubbard, Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club was designed in the late 1970s by Ralph Plummer, who served up his typical 7,000-yard-plus layout. Plummer's design involves the lake on five holes, as well as water on another seven. With its lack of trees, the main challenges are the water and the wind off the lake.
