Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, the links-style Golf Club at Fossil Creek was nominated by Golf Digest as one of the best new public golf courses in Texas when it opened in 1987, and has lived up to that advance billing since then. The course is scenic, with massive trees, limestone bluffs, bubbling creeks, and numerous lakes that bring water into play on 15 of 18 holes. The course boasts pretty rolling fairways and 18 testing holes all intertwined throughout streams created by Fossil Creek. It's surrounded by rocky-ledged creeks and crystal lakes.

Early April: not a blade of grass out of place.
The staff is top notch. From the pro shop to the food service to the starter to the beverage cart driver. Everyone is there to accommodate your needs.
Here's the best part; No Two Holes Alike! Every hole is memorable. Unlike most other courses in this area, the natural terrain leant itself to some beautiful, challenging golf holes. Definitely not a flat back-and-forth track with man-made mounds, ponds at the corner, and no trees.
IMHO, best public course in north texas!
