Presidents at Brookhaven Country Club

About
The Championship Course is not as difficult as the Master’s, but offers plenty of challenging holes. No. 10 is the most difficult--a long par 4 that bends right, it requires a perfect drive to set up a reasonable approach over the lake to the green. Most of the par 3s are short and offer good scoring opportunities.
Getting there : Turn north on Midway off of 635 and drive north a few miles to Country Club Dr. Turn left (west) and you’ll eventually see the club entrance on the right.

A Nice Starter Layout
We have played the Championship course before, but this weekend it was closed due to all the rain in the DFW area. The Master's course was all booked up so our foursome had the opportunity to play the beginners layout named the Presidents course.
Brookhaven is a great place for young families. My grandchildren enjoy their many activities.
This is a fun layout with regular sand traps and not much water. The course is 6177 yards from the senior tees. The greens were in good shape and rolled well.
The course design is straightforward with a few doglegs and not many problems on the fairways.
This was a good course to play on a wet day because it does drain well. There are plenty of mature trees on every hole but they do not distract or create problems with your shot.
The busy pro shop was friendly and the pace of play was good.
Brookhaven Presidents is a good test for beginners and a nice relaxing round for regular golfers on a wet day.
