Lubbock Golf Courses
The Canyon Course is the original layout at Meadowbrook G.C., with wide-open fairways and hardly any hazards. Designed more for the average golfer, the Canyon features less water than the Creek Course, but more bunkers.

Meadowbrook Golf Course, whose original 18 holes dates back to circa 1930, offers 36 holes of golf with its Canyon and Creek Courses. Ralph Plummer laid these out back in the 1940s, Warren Cantrell put his signature here in 1955, then Bob Lohmann came along for another renovation in 1988.

After delays due to the Korean War, Hillcrest finally opened in 1953 with a traditional layout designed by the popular Warren Cantrell, who also supervised the construction of the clubhouse and served as the first golf pro, club manager, and superintendent.

Lakeridge opened in 1979 as the centerpiece of an exclusive neighborhood. The flat design is built around two lakes and features tight fairways, heavily bunkered greens, and either water or out-of-bounds on every hole.
