Lamesa’s semi-private country club recently underwent a complete renovation that modernized the course and significantly improved the greens. Despite the ragged look of the clubhouse due to ongoing construction, this is a nice facility that offers 9 holes of pure wind-blown pleasure.

Lamesa Municipal Golf Course (formerly Plain Fairways GC) is another simple, small-town course that is great for the average hack. There are no bunkers, but the course has two water holes, along with tight, tree-lined fairways that provide some challenges.
