The Cottonwood Valley Course plays a role in the tournament every year during the first two rounds. Known for the opening hole featuring a Texas-shaped green bordered by an Oklahoma-like bunker, this course is usually not available for guests of the resort.

From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.

Las Colinas Country Club opened in 1963 with a Joe Finger design that took advantage of the rolling terrain between Dallas and Fort Worth. Finger’s design features huge greens as well as fairways that are fairly wide, but never offer a level lie.
