The Bridges Golf Club
2400 Fred Couples DriveThe Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

PRACTICE AREAS: Have to be the best in the entire metroplex. Always in great condition and never crowded. The range is approx 120 yds wide and 400 yds deep and the putting and chipping greens are also very nice.
GOLF COURSE: The golf course is very challenging, while the fairways are for the most part pretty forgiving, the rough is very difficult. The greens are fast, a lot of contour and the ball rolls great on them. Most of the greens are elevated and/or protected by links style mounding, dont short side yourself. A couple of years ago, the condition was a little spotty. However, the new Sup, Zach, has done an amazing job and the course is always in top shelf condition.
FACILITIES: Has a nice restaurant, pretty much the typical golf course menu (the club sandwich is great) and the staff is very friendly. The pro shop is well stocked and has everything you might need.
STAFF: Head Pro Josh is a true professional. He is extremely friendly, always willing to just talk or answer any questions you might have he is one of the best i have seen in my 45 years of golf. I see him at least once per week playing a round of golf with the members.
over all i highly recommend this golf course, i cant say enough about the facilities, the course, and Josh and his staff. My wife and i are moving out of the area, relocating to rockwall..and im still probably going to drive from rockwall to gunter...
