Garland Golf Courses
Firewheel Golf Park in Garland is home to the 27-hole Bridges Course, which is comprised of three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. Opened in 2001, the course has been host to several U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur events. The nines offer plenty of variety, each utilizing the tree-covered rolling terrain in different ways. The Champion nine is the second longest nine.

Formerly known as Oakridge Country Club, Duck Creek Golf Course is a short target course that plays only around 6,500 yards from the tips (par 71) and around a very hacker-friendly 6,000 yards from the white tees.

The Lakes Course at Firewheel is a links-style course that is loaded with water, and was a Dick Phelps creation on his return to Garland in 1987. Hole 7 is the most difficult–a long 549-yard par 5 that requires an approach over a pond.

Firewheel Golf Park boasts a total of 63 championship holes. The 27-hole Bridges Course even offers three more 18-hole combinations. The layout is comprised of three different nines: the Masters, the Champions, and the Traditions that can be mixed and matched for a different round every time you play at Firewheel. The Masters is the longest of the three nines at 3,553 yards from the back tees.

The course is comprised of three nines that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The Tradition nine is the shortest of the three at just over 3,200 yards from the back tees.
