At The Trails of Frisco Golf Club north of Dallas, Jeff Brauer offers a unique shot-maker's challenge
FRISCO, Texas -- Opened in 2000, The Trails of Frisco Golf Club is one of Jeff Brauer's more unique designs.
The golf course meanders through streams, wetlands and around wooded areas for a shot-maker's challenge. Golfers will find themselves thinking about where they want to put their tee shots in relation to hazards and pin positions on the massive greens. Playing as long as 6,800 yards, this par 71 is a challenge for skilled players as well as the average golfer.
Tee shots can be a little intimidating, although there is ample room to drive the ball. Water or waste areas come into play on 16 holes. And there's a creek that comes into play throughout, including holes 1, 2, 4, 5 and 9 on the front nine.
