Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center Honored by Golf Digest

UNIVERSAL CITY, TX - Olympia Hills Golf & Conference Center has been rated No. 4 "Best New Affordable Public Golf Course" in America by Golf Digest Magazine. Public golf courses were rated on shot value, design variety, memorability, aesthetics and playability.

Olympia Hills was the only course in Texas to make any of the Golf Digest lists.

Olympia Hills is a Finger, Dye and Spann Design Group layout, and is operated by KemperSports Management. The 18-hole layout is owned by the city of Universal City, Texas and made its debut in February of 2000.

The golf course features Bermuda grass and four sets of tees measuring 6,923 from the championship to 5,534 from the forward.

The layout boasts naturally undulating topography, man-made mounds and strategic placement of bunkers, as well as native South Texas vegetation and wildlife that can be seen throughout. Golfers also have access to a driving range, a short game practice area and a practice putting green.
